    Kangaroos are marsupials. That means that when a baby kangaroo is born it has to crawl to a pouch on its mother's belly so it can finish growing until it is big enough to live on its own.

    Like kangaroos, koalas are also marsupials.
    A baby koala is called a cub.
    Koalas eat poisonous eucalyptus leaves, but thanks to their specialized digestive tract, they don't get sick!

    Koalas sleep for about 18 hours a day!

    platypus is one of the only mammaltwo mammals that lays

    The male platypus has poisonous stingers on its back feet.
    They have folds of skin over their ears and eyes so they can catch food underwater. They can stay underwater for roughly ten minutes!
